Platform overview, language settings, reporting issues, and contacting the team.

Console Notebook is a community platform dedicated to gaming hardware. It brings together an encyclopedia of 52 consoles (generations 1–9, 1972–2025), a community forum, a peer-to-peer marketplace, a repair wizard, and social features (friends, chat, profiles, achievements) — all in one place.

The platform is built for collectors, retro gaming enthusiasts, and anyone who wants to learn about, compare, or discuss gaming hardware.
Most content is accessible without an account:
  1. Browse the full console encyclopedia (all 52 pages).
  2. Use the comparison tool.
  3. Read forum threads and community chat history.
  4. Browse marketplace listings.
  5. Read the Learn section.
An account is required to post in the forum, send messages, submit a repair request, rate or favourite consoles, add items to the marketplace, or track your progress.
Console Notebook currently supports two languages:
  1. English — the default language.
  2. Romanian — full interface translation.
The platform automatically uses your browser's preferred language on first visit. You can change the language at any time using the language switcher in the page footer.
Scroll to the bottom of any page. In the footer, click the language switcher and select your preferred language. The change takes effect immediately and is saved to your browser so it persists across sessions.
💡 User-generated content (forum posts, marketplace listings, chat messages) is always displayed in the language it was originally written in.
You can report bugs in two ways:
  1. Forum → Bug tag — post a thread in the relevant category (e.g. PlayStation, General) and use the Bug tag. Other users and the team will see it.
  2. Contact form — go to Help & Support → Contact and send a direct message to the team.
When reporting a bug, include:
  1. A description of what happened and what you expected to happen.
  2. The page or feature where the issue occurred.
  3. Your browser and operating system.
  4. Any error messages you saw.
You can reach the team through the following channels:
  1. Contact form — on the Help & Support page, scroll to the Contact section and fill in the form. Your message is delivered directly to the team's inbox.
  2. Emailconsole.notebook.app@gmail.com
  3. Phone+40 758 464 907
💡 For repair-related questions, use the Repair Wizard instead of the contact form — it ensures your request is tracked and routed correctly.
